This is SplashClass, a dashboard and learning platform in accordance with a UN report calling for a more accessible learning platform. My team and I came up with this platform to be accessible, not only through connection channels (wifi and cell tower connection) but within its interface. The platform was laid out based on a physical classroom. This created easy to learn navigation, using desks as affordances. We included features such as zoom fields for those with impaired vision. The platform can also convert documents that are not ereader friendly (files with complex css, animations, and dark backgrounds) to simple html text files. We believe that education should be freely accessed and this SplashClass is the path to that goal.
